- In the first case "leis" means simply "with" and "ceacht" is
- eclipsed because it is in a phrase governed by "leis";

- In the second case "leis" means "with him", and "an cheacht"
- is NOT in a phrase governed by "leis" ... thus it is lenited
- after the article because it is a feminine article after "an" .
